- What is the entrance requirements?
The minimum entrance requirement is grade 12 Diploma or the equivalent, if an applicant is 18 yrs and older and do not have a grade 12 Diploma IMTT will provide an entrance test.
- Is IMTT a registered Private Career College?
Yes IMTT is a registered Private Career College under the Private Career College Act.
- What type of machines do you have?
IMTT’s workshop is equipped with new industry standard CNC machines, these machines are CNC Milling Machines with Fanuc Controls, CNC Lathe with Fanuc Controls and 5 – axis Mill / Turn with Siemens Control
- Do you have a computer lab?
Yes, IMTT has over 80 desk top computers loaded with the latest version CAD/CAM software
- Am I too old to learn this trade?
No, the average age group enrolled in our programs is approximately 50 yrs old. Employers are looking for people with the skills and the right attitude.
- Is there many job opportunities?
There are many job opportunities in the GTA and surrounding areas, Many employers contact IMTT directly for students.
- Does IMTT help with job placement assistance?
Yes, IMTT assist in updating student resumes and send out to companies who contacted us for students
- Is there any support after graduation?
Support is provided for resume writing and job placement assistance, in addition if graduates require technical assistance they are welcome to come and speak to the professors.
- Are there any government funding available?
Yes if you are eligible you can apply for Second Career Funding or Canada Ontario Job Grant.
