We know that managing the cost of education can be challenging, and we want you to feel supported throughout your journey. A student line of credit can offer a flexible and convenient way to help finance your studies.
Unlike traditional student loans that give you a lump sum, a student line of credit allows you to borrow only what you need, when you need it, up to a preapproved limit. Many banks and credit unions in Ontario offer options specifically designed for students, helping you cover tuition, books, materials, and even living expenses.
This solution gives you access to funds as needed, so you can focus more on learning and less on financial stress. If you are a full-time or part-time student enrolled at the college, you may be eligible to apply. Our team is here to help you explore your options and answer any questions along the way.

Delivered by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), the Lifelong Learning Plan (LLP) allows you to withdraw up to $10,000 per year (maximum $20,000 in total) from your Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) to finance training or education for yourself or your spouse/common-law partner. Withdrawals are tax-free as long as they are repaid within 10 years.
This program can be a valuable way to fund your education without taking on new debt, giving you flexibility and control over your training investment.
