5 Month Certification Option for Current Machine Tool Operators

Are you currently working as a CNC machine tool operator/set-up person and would like to learn programming?

If so, iMTT offers a 5 month program where the emphasis is on developing the skills required to become a CNC programmer.

You will learn:

  • Mastercam Design and Toolpath,
  • “G-Code” programming for Milling and Turning applications,
  • 5 axis programming, Solidworks and more.

With these skills, you can pursue employment opportunities that offer better salaries and incentives.

Small Class Sizes – Individual Attention

iMTT offers a great environment for learning with classrooms, computer labs and workshop all under one roof. Classroom sizes are limited to 18 students which allows for better communication between teacher and students. Practicum in the workshop is offered on a one – on – one basis which allows the students to be directly engage in programming, setting-up and operating CNC machines with teacher supervision.

Each student is responsible for designing, programming, setting-up and machining 15 projects (only in the 10 month diploma program) before the end of their program. This intense method of hands-on training will develop students’ skills and confidence.
